Please join Maker Studio Kidz for an aroma-soothing natural dyeing workshop led by Community Artist and Educator Jaee Sumter, founder of Sweet Herbal Honey Apothecary and Ase’ O Community Arts Education Program. During our magical workshop, we will learn how to use everyday herbs, roots, fruits, and vegetables for dyeing fabric and painting magical creations. We will make our dye sample sketchbook from scratch, learn the history of dyeing around the world, practice sustainable ways of creating art, and explore a variety of take-home projects to include in the home and everyday wear.
