Since our inception in 2017, Maker Studio Kidz has been committed to finding creative solutions to challenges in STEM education. Our FUN-damental Science-through-Art curriculum gives students opportunities to explore and grow their creativity while cultivating STEM confidence and interdisciplinary thinking.
Our integrated Science-through-Art K-12 programming boosts short-term and long-term academic engagement, critical thinking skills, and helps students with learning disabilities tackle difficult subjects like math and science. Students who received arts education in primary and secondary school are, on average, 20% more likely to attend postsecondary school.
Despite these benefits, only 11% of California schools meet the state requirement for a creative curriculum, and access to art education continues to decline in the United States and California. This disproportionately impacts students of color and students from low-income families. Maker Studio aims to address this disparity and foster the next generation’s creative STEM superpowers.

Through the magic of process art, we help kids (and adults) make connections with their minds, ideas and hearts. Using EMPATHY and understanding to make heart to heart connections. We teach children to make important decisions while making connections with the world around them.
