covid-19 safety measures

1. CAMP COHORTS

  • Campers will be grouped in 3 week cohort of no more than 12 kids

  • Each camp cohort will be supervised by fully vaccinated staff

  • Campers will be staying in their own cohort and not interacting with another camp cohort

  • Sharing of supplies will be limited as much as possible, any supplies shared will be within the cohort. Some items we will request campers to bring from home. For example scissors, pencils, etc. 

 

2. STAFF SAFETY

  • We are requiring that all staff will be fully vaccinated by the start of camp

  • Staff will be trained on current safety guidelines and expectations at camp

  • All state and county required safety planning, tools and/or certificates are followed. 

 

3. TESTING AND TEMPERATURE CHECKS

  • We are requiring all campers to be tested and provide proof of negative COVID-19 test a minimum of one week before start of camp. 

  • Campers and staff will be receiving temperature checks daily. 

  • Campers and staff that present with any cold or flu-like symptoms will be sent home and/or asked to not come into camp. 

 

4. SOCIAL DISTANCING AND COVID-19 SAFETY MEASURES

  • All campers and staff are required to wear masks properly when at camp covering their nose and mouth(except when eating or drinking)

  • Extra masks are accessible for staff and campers. 

  • Everyone at camp will stay a minimum of six feet apart from one another in order to follow social distance guidelines. Exceptions will be made in case of emergency. 

  • Campers are required to bring their own lunch and snacks to camp

  • All windows will be open for the entire duration of camp in order to provide a constant flow of air

  • There will be no multiple camp cohort contact or interaction

  • Campers and staff practice frequent hand-washing and hand sanitizing before and after activities/contact. 

  • All surfaces will be wiped down and cleaned in between camp sessions
